Gentlemen,

 

- MEETING REMINDER -

Please remember we are now meeting at Venus Pankake House on Palmetto Street.  Our first meeting is this Tuesday, January 26th at 7pm.  Carl Potter the Division Quartermaster will be our guest.  He is going to show off some fancy fire arms and do some show and tell about the new Division fundraiser.  We will also hold camp elections for the next 2 year term and discuss important camp business.

 

- FLAGS -

Please gather up and bring all of your 3x5 Confederate flags to the next meeting.  We will use them as decorations at the convention.  I will supply a safety pin and small slip of paper to mark your flag - so you do not have to write on your flag with ink!  We need around 50 flags for decorations.  I will take good care of them and return them in April.

 

- CONVENTION UPDATE -

I want to remind you that I need your help gettingin the last few advertisements for the convention program.  We are about 5 away from our goal which is VERY attainable.  Several people have told me about advertisements they have gotten committments for.  Now is the time to follow through and get them turned in.  Please mail me the advertisement form, business card or information for the ad and most importantly - they check as soon as possible.  The deadline to have everything to our graphics artist is January 31st.  If you run into a situation where someone DEFINATELY wants an ad but has not paid yet - get me the graphics info and we can collect later.

***State Convention Update***

- CONVENTION PROGRAM -

- BRIGADE LEE/JACKSON BANQUET -

It is not to late to register for the 7th Brigade Lee/Jackson Banquet.  The banquet will be Saturday, Jan 16th at Springmaid Resort in Myrble Beach.  The cost is $30 per person.  If you would like to attend and have not registered, please contact me this week so we can make arrangements.
